Submit your work from Nevalor Studio to Nevalor Publishers for consideration
From Nevalor Studio to Publication
Nevalor Studio is a place to write, develop and finish your work. Whether you are writing a novel, an essay, a collection of short stories, a memoir or another form of literary work, the finished manuscript belongs to you.
Once your work is complete, you can submit it directly from Studio to Nevalor Publishers for consideration. There is nothing to download and nothing to send by email.
Your work does not need to begin with a publisher. It can begin with an idea, a blank page and the decision to keep writing. Studio is designed to help you take that idea further, from the first words of a manuscript to a completed work that you can share with others.
Submit Your Work
Have you written something in Nevalor Studio that you would like Nevalor Publishers to consider?
When your manuscript is complete, select Submit for Publishing in Studio. You will be asked for your name and email address and to identify the manuscript as either a Nevalor Book or a World Classic. Your manuscript is then sent directly to the Nevalor Publishers submission system.
The type you select at submission determines the identifier family a work may receive if it is later approved. The numbering of the NV and PD series is independent. Assignment of a Library identifier does not itself mean that a work has been published.
How It Works
What Happens After You Submit
Submission does not guarantee publication. Every work submitted to Nevalor Publishers is reviewed according to the applicable editorial and publishing requirements, and the final decision to publish rests with Nevalor Publishers.
If a manuscript is approved for publication processing, it may be transferred into the appropriate Nevalor Studio Library book structure and entered into the Library catalogue as a draft. It then passes through the applicable editorial and technical stages. Publication is not complete until the work has been formally published in the Nevalor Studio Library or through another applicable Nevalor Publishers channel.
Before you submit
Please read the Publishing Terms and Conditions carefully. By submitting your work to Nevalor Publishers, you acknowledge and agree to the terms governing its submission, consideration and, if approved, its subsequent publication. Make sure you hold the rights needed to submit the work.
Your Manuscript and Your Browser
Nevalor Studio currently stores your manuscript in your own browser rather than on the Nevalor Publishers website. Your projects are kept on your device and browser profile, and a manuscript is not stored as part of the site’s hosting simply because you use Studio. A copy leaves your browser only when you choose to submit it.
Because of this local approach:
- another person using a different computer will not automatically see your projects;
- opening Studio on another device will not bring your projects with you unless you import a backup;
- clearing browser data can delete locally stored Studio projects, so back up first; and
- keeping backup copies of important work is strongly recommended.
Backing Up Your Project
Nevalor Studio provides a Backup JSON option. A backup contains your project information and saved revision history, and it can be kept as a personal copy of your Studio project. If necessary, the backup can later be imported back into Studio.
Renaming a Project
If you decide that your project needs a different title, click Rename beside the project, enter the new title and save it. Renaming a project does not remove its chapters or manuscript content.
A Free Service for Writers
Nevalor Studio is provided by Nevalor Publishers as a free writing space, with a dedicated place for writers to write, develop and complete literary work.
Your work remains yours
Nevalor Studio gives you a place to write, develop and complete your work. Nevalor Publishers offers an opportunity for suitable work to be considered for publication. If your work is accepted, it may become part of a literary catalogue created to connect writers with readers. Subject to the Publishing Terms and Conditions, you remain free to continue your publishing journey elsewhere.
