Each form has its own editor, its own options and its own book layout, so a play is written as a play and an essay as an essay — and the Nevalor Studio Library shows each exactly as you wrote it.
Novel
Chapters and parts, scene breaks, numbered sections and the ellipsis transition, all set in the house style of the Library.
Play
Acts and scenes, a cast list and stage directions, and Enter moves from a character to the dialogue as you write.

Export a print-ready PDF set to book standards — title and copyright pages, Contents, running heads and page numbers — in five book sizes, with English (UK) hyphenation. Plays also come in theatre manuscript format, and any project can be saved as a TXT manuscript or a complete backup.

The PDF is set the way a printed trade book is set: a title page and copyright page, Contents where the book needs them, each chapter, story or essay on a new page, running heads, and page numbers from the first page of text. Plays come as a reading edition or in the manuscript format theatres expect.

Search the current chapter or the whole project, match case or whole words, and replace one match or all of them.
Writing Tools
